to those who watched and still care

Someone should rename Wong Kar-Wai's, Chungking Express as In-Which-Takeshi-Kaneshiro-and-Tony-Leung-are-so-cute-we-forget-how-weird-their-characters-are. Rewatched the movie last night; total bad idea, just wasted my night away taking screencaps and forgetting about the women in the movie, which is to be expected with Kaneshiro and Leung, being ( Read more... )

Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS, thank you.

Is TK's accent weird cos he's from Taipei? Or does he just talk funny?

ISN'T IT? I am in love with Wong Kar-Wai and his pick of casting. IN LOVE. *Floats around*

TK is not only from Taipei but he's Japanese, which makes his Cantonese the most hilarious mash-up of other Asian language backgrounds. But he's cute; I can forgive him. Gigglefarts.

The boys are wonderful (that was the first time I ever saw TK, so needless to say it CHANGED MY LIFE ENTIRELY), and Faye Wong is so delightful, I almost can't take it. And I know it's gimmicky, but that shot of Tony Leung being still while everyone else is moving in all fast is sort of outrageously gorgeous.

AW. I wish I could hear that, I suspect it would amp my love up for him an alarming amount.

Faye Wong is quirky!cute and ADD like WHOA (hee). I am amazed that WKW can actually make a light-hearted film (as light-hearted as he can get, thanks)...and as for those shots, I think that he utilizes them in a way that barely avoids the gimmicky line (some can disagree). He also uses the same technique, running around with the handheld cam, recording in less fps in Happy Together for that fast yet blurry, lagging pace. Which I like. :)

Have you seen him in this chickflick called Turn Left, Turn Right?

You probably wouldn't have; I almost died at the end, couldn't handle Tony Leung's face looking all earnest and sad and then the slight grin, shit, he's a good actor... ¬_¬

Soap man's such a cutie!

How's life? Finally slowing down or not so much? It was cold and rainy here all this weekend - lah-hame! :o/ Hope you're having better weather...

YES HE IS, YES HE IS. (Have you watched this film? If not, you should!)

I'm not sure what slowing down means....I think maybe by Halloween it might be slightly less hectic but my club work is always on a HECTIC HIGH. BUT, I have finished some major projects at work so my supervisors are taking me out for lunch this Monday WHOO.

TODAY was beautiful. I went out to have lunch with a friend before attempting to hit my studies. :) I saw it was rainy! (5 HR ANGELS V YANKEES GAME MUCH?)

Lots of lunches? Niiiiiice. It's still cold here, but it's warming up a little from this weekend... I like October, but I was that October in Virginia wasn't so darn schizophrenic... Ho hum.
