I'm certain you're about to say something along the lines of "I can take care of myself". But you might want to consider something. Are you certain the others can without you?

That's alright. I can't expect to get much done during all this, but maybe we'll have a chance once it dies down again.

...I'm not alone, but I can't exactly stay put, either. I'm helping Ted with his project to set up signs and stations around the forest, for the New Feathers. That's not something I'm about to back out on.

Thank you. Rosa promised to help with him as well, so hopefully the too of you combined will be able to make him see sense.

Perhaps I should just avoid giving him useful advice in the future, so he'll be more likely to take it from others...

... Also, if Kain should happen upon you, do whatever you can to convince him of the urgency of the situation. I don't think him listening to my advice to be likely.
