I found out that by making things up as you go along, you often get nearer to "the truth" than you'd expect.
Although, I must add, this isn't always the case and it can be quite hard to distinguish the profound from the idiotic.

I think you're right. About love. I mean, I can't say for sure. Love is one of those emotion things that's different for everyone.

I'd like to say I've been in love three times. Though, one of those was when I fourteen, and I'm not really sure I knew what I was doing.

But you're right. Unless you've got issues, love isn't breaking up and getting back together everyday. It also isn't perfect and easy. If it were, everyone would do it and we wouldn't have so many songs and poems about it. It's a lot like friendship.

Yeah, love is different, but not hugely so between different people.

I know I've loved enough that sometimes it hurt. Maybe that counts as being in love... I don't know.

I wonder, if love were easy.. Would it be worth having?

People say that anything that's easy to get isn't worth having. I think that's a load of bullshit. You may not appreciate the easy things as much as you should, but they're still worth having.

But people tend to take things for granted. Which perhaps is why the whole "isn't worth having if its easy" comes into play, though its not really a good excuse, after all.

I agree with you. "Love sucks," when said by a youngun, is another way of saying, "I don't know what love really is but from what I've seen of hooking up, it sucks."

Because you know, random hookups totally equal true love.

Eh. I'm not saying he didn't know what love is. From what he told me, he quite possibly did. .. He's just of the misinformed that think that its the love that sucks. >>
