The Coming of Arthur I
Merlin and Arthur race against time to get the Cup of Life before Morgause and Cenred do.
The word EPIC cannot describe this first part of the season finale.
A mini movie full of adventure, action, angst and...humor.
The source of all 'evil' are Morgana's ambition to be Queen of Camelot and the Cup of Life which gives immortality in the wrong hands.
Merlin and Arthur along with Gwaine get the Cup after Uther's orders but in the process, Arthur gets wounded, the cup goes to the evil witch Morgause who kills Cenred and in the end, Arthur faces two shocks: One seeing his King father on his knees in front of the two evil witches and hears that Morgana is his sister!
How can he deal with her and her immortal army who took over Camelot?
Not need to mention how much i love the scenes that Merlin and Arthur are together because they need each other and care which is obviousin their eyes.
We see Gwaine and Elian helping the boys.
Two random things:
The slaves scenes and fight with Jar was totally out of 'Star Wars Ep 5'.
I wished Arthur didn't threaten the Druid boy.
Next week? The finale in top of a hell of an action.
All fall down like toy soldiers.
Everyone is sad losing the Knights.
Sir Leon is dead.
The Druids take Leon's body.
The Cup of Life brings him back to life.
Storm is coming in Camelot.
Arthur greets Leon.
Everyone gets surprised when they hear that the Druids helped Leon.
Gaius finds nothing wrong with Leon.
Uther wants the Cup no matter what.
Gaius tells Merlin about the power of the Cup.
Uther asks Arthur to get him the Cup, going alone while Morgana hears them.
But Arthur will take Merlin with him who asks what they are going to.
'Don't be such a girl, Merlin'.
They are going undercover.
'If you tell me, then you'll have to kill me'.
Morgause also wants the Cup.
Morgana watches the boys leaving.
But there are spies.
Cenred gets involved and Morgause manipulates him.
Merlin wants to know about their mission.
But something pinches them on their necks.
The next thing Merlin sees is Arthur and a bunch of men.
Arthur doesn't see that Gwaine is also there.
Gwaine tells them about Jar who makes sells slaves.
Jar appears and wants someone to fight with his champion.
He picks Merlin.
Arthur wants to know who's the champion and volunteers for Merlin's position.
Guess who's the champion!
Cenred tells Morgause that Jar has the boys.
Welcome to the fight club.
'Take it easy, will ya?'
Arthur is more determined.
'So far, so good'.
Merlin 'causes' fire and panic.
Run!!!
Merlin tells Gwaine that they are looking for the Cup pf Life and Arthur hits him.
'It's Gwaine!'
Gwaine offers his help.
Jar finds Arthur's bag.
Gwaine teases Arthur about their fight before.
Merlin confronts them that if it wasn't for the fire, they'd push daisies rigth now.
Morgause 'rewards' Jar after his information.
The boys find the Druids' cave.
No one seems to be inside.
Arthur finds a Druid boy and asks him about the Cup.
He threatens to kill the boy.
Arthur releases him taking the Cup.
The Druids' leader warns Arthur about the power of it.
Emrys must guard the Cup.
'Get the Cup and kill them!'
Too much quiet around.
Danger all over!
It's not a plane, it's not a man, it's the flying Cup!
And it lands on Cenred's men hands.
Arthur has fever because of a poisonous arrow that hit him.
Merlin covers him with his jacket.
The Cup is in Morgause's hands who gives immortality to Cenred's huge army.
Morgana shows her fake concern to Uther about Arthur.
Merlin tries to get rid of Gwaine so to 'heal' Arthur.
When Gwaine leaves, Merlin does his magic but it doesn't work.
'Arthur, come on!'
Cenred's huge army goes to Camelot.
But it seems that it's Morgause's army.
The Knights see the army.
They chase the knights and kill them except Leon who sees they can't die.
Arthur wakes up and can't believe he was unconscious.
He's upset about losing the Cup.
Into his leg's pain, Arthur tells them they will return to Camelot.
Uther learns about the Immortal Army and gaius says that they have a traitor there, looking at Morgana.
The Knights get prepared.
Gwen is worried.
Morgana eases her telling her that nothing will happen to her if she sticks by her side.
The boys face some surprises.
The worst is yet to come.
Camelot looks destructed.
They go to Gwen's house.
Her brother surprises them.
He tells them about the army that cannot die.
'The city has been taken'.
They walk to the castle and see the enemies.
LimpArthur can't walk well.
He worries about Gwen and his father.
Now, Merlin gives the orders.
They hide.
They go to Gaius' lab.
Merlin hears a sound and sees hidden Gaius.
Merlin tells him about wounded Arthur.
Gwaine and Elian see the captured king.
Merlin puts his magic book and Avalon's water in his bag.
Gaius gives a med to Arthur and learn about Uther.
Arthur wants to go.
He asks Gwaine and Elian to take Gaius with them.
Arthur also asks Merlin to follow them but Merlin prefers to stick with Arthur.
Merlin worries about his friend.
Here comes the biggest surprise of all.
Arthur gets furious when he sees his father on his knees in front of Morgause.
She takes off his crown.
Uther is surprised to see Morgana there.
'I'm your daughter after all'.
Arthur is shocked.
He watches Morgana...Pendragon to be the Queen of Camelot.
The witches are pleased now.
But the boys are not.
