If you're 'learn from a book' inclined, I love the 'Stitch n Bitch Happy Hooker' crochet book - great instructions for numerous stitches, good tips, etc. I've only made a scarf from the patterns in it so far but it was a great first project and the instruction parts were a good fit for me.

I got the For Dummies crochet book, because I've had good luck with those in the past. But that looks like a great one, too!

I don't draw or paint or do art of that sort, so the tarot is going to be a challenge. I'll be using a lot of NASA pics!
