Okay, so some of the items in the poll in the previous post were random off the top of my head things, but some did have more purpose than they might appear. The tigers in 2010 and bunnies in 2011 are for the Chinese zodiac. 2010 was a year of the tiger and 2011 is a year of the rabbit. My mom, my brother, and his older daughter are all rabbits. I am pleased to report that 42 is an abundant number (the sum of its positive divisors, including itself, is more than 2 x itself). Which is a lovely name for a numerical quality.

(So is 40. I am trying to comfort the Beloved with this fact about HIS impending birthday.)
