Spider Update

She was snuggly yesterday evening, but did not move from the foot of the bed all night. That's very unusual. And then she showed no interest in food. So we took her back to the vet. They kept her for observation and to run bloodwork and Xrays and any other tests to find out what's wrong ( Read more... )

Yes, that's where she is. Dr. Gordon was the vet last night, I don't remember the name of the vet student, a guy. They've been great but it would have been good to have you there!

It was a year a go when my Puck got scary sick we two had come home early to find him ill. I hope that spider makes as good or better a recovery than my puck has.

We will see what eating and drinking- and getting that stuff out of the other end!- does for her.

It sounds like you take her to MSU... could you please find out if there is a Luminita Sarbu still there? She was my late kitty's oncologist.

That name is not at all familiar to me - I don't believe anyone by that name is still at MSU. Do you know if she was a resident?

I Googled her, and it looks like she was a resident at the time. She is in Seattle now and it looks like she has her one veterinary oncology clinic. I've been wanting to get in touch with her and send her a picture of her namesake and her littermate. Thanks Lucy!
