This coming weekend & computer issue

So it turns out the party on Friday is now on Thursday, unless something else changes at the last minute. Therefore, we will have SciFi Friday on Friday! We didn't get through last week's Atlantis on Saturday, so we'll have that plus this week's Eureka. Inexplicably, there's no new Atlantis this week. We can watch some Bab5 or whatever we feel

Happy Anniversary!

A great and yummy restaurant in Okemos is Ukai Japanese steakhouse. It's a hibachi grill and everything is cooked right there before you. great food and a dramatic cooking demonstration. Ai Fusion (just opened up in East Lansing) is owned by the same people, I heard they are yummy. I wanted to get there before we left but never quite got the chance.

ukai's okay, but not great. but i will say that ai rocks. the sushi's great and so is the normal entrees.

next time you guys come back this way we'll have to go share some shabu-shabu : )

Ai is excellent, Ukai is subpar for teppanyaki (the hibachi grill dinner). I love a good teppanyaki, but Ukai is not that. I've got too much experience to compare it too!

Ukai is the only place like that I have ever been to, so I really don't have much to compare it to. But I will now have to begin a hunt for great hibachi grills. There's gotta be some around here.!

Go find one of those brazillian steakhouses. You'll swear that you'd died and gone to meat heaven.

I mean come on, steak on a sword? How much cooler could you get?

It's been cooperating better today. I haven't installed anything recently, which is part of why I'm perplexed. Unless the problem is with an update for something. That's happened before.

Since the machine is cooperating, I'll backup to my external storage drive. I've done that before. If it starts crashing again and won't let me do that, though, I'll call for help! Thanks!

That could very well be it. How do you check for that? And what can you do about it?

When your computer crashes dose it power down/off? If that is the case my work computer did that last year and it was the power supply, that is really a very bad thing.

We always liked Dusty's Cellar

Dusty's Cellar has fallen off our list, unfortunately. The last two times we were there, we got bad service. Paying the prices they have, I expect better service.

I agree...they are expensive. Good service is important too.
