I find myself asking the same questions, wishing I could find an answer for them.

I still don't understand how anybody else's marriage, no matter whose, could be a threat to mine. There's just no logic to that argument!

Yeah.. It's amazing what the right wing is doing this past week... It's all to bolster their sinking poll numbers.

Yeah, yeah, this coming from the politically conservative pagan.. I know I know...

I just get pry myself away from conservative fiscal policies enough to call myself a Democrat..

Or Libertarian, or anything....

Hence why I'm one of those highly sough after undecideds!

But on Middle Eastern matters vs. Brad & Angelina, I agree with you whole-heartedly CJ. Americans still don't have a sense of "give-a-shit" when foreign affairs don't strike them at home personally, preferring instead to dwell on trivial local matters of little consequence.

But even hint that their, beer-drinkin, NASCAR watching, homophobic ultra conservative tendencies are even the tiniest bit "extreme" and they blow up!

The pendulum always swings, and tends to swing wildly... Too bad it doesn't linger very long in the center...
