He unhooks it with a smooth, efficient turn of his wrist, no room for more extravagant motion, and no energy either. His mouth closes over a nipple before he really even realizes it's in front of him, grazing it with his teeth as she makes soft, private sounds beneath him.

Someone outside is playing Fleetwood Mac and in the breathy silences he can just barely hear it through the window glass. He closes his eyes and moves his fingers in time to it before the sound drifts away from them again, sliding them down inside her panties and then inside her, slick and warm.

"Oh," she says, no, breathes, the sound breezing over his shoulder and lingering in the air ( ... )
