RPG Reflexions

Here are some thoughts I've been having about RPGs.

I had one of the best gaming groups I know I'll ever have in Mississippi. We all got along fine, we took turns, we played more than one game. It was great. I was really sad to leave them when I had to move to Dallas.

I hope you get to see them from time to time at Cons. We have a few absent-members that see us every year at the two cons the SGC supports in Montana (MisCon and Montana Game Faire). One fellow comes from Little Rock, Arkansas twice a year to party and game with us.

We are pretty lucky to have a club here in such a small community (50,000). A lot of big cities don't have what we have here.

What kind of games do you play? And are you still able to get your game-on in Dallas?

I was looking a "Haxan" and it's a great RPG setting. You have terrific characters already in place: Marshal John Thaddeus Marwood,“Shiner” Larsen, Magra Snowberry, Jake Strop, Black Sky, Doctor Rex Toland, and Hew & Alma Jean Clay. All with compelling backstories.

Have you considered it for a game?

I would love to put something together from "Haxan", just for my gaming group. I think it has a lot of potential.
