Aaaahh. I do love this universe. In fact, shall go re-read the other parts. I think that's a plan before bed.

...and Laura would SO prefer going out with a bang. She almost got the chance in canon, too. I'm hoping, though, that in this universe any remission is permanent because dead!Laura is just WRONG WRONG WRONG. *ahem*

I love the text of Love and Bullets. Very cleverly done. Works so well.

I love the book reading in every Laura and Bill fic. It just has to be there.

And yes, I am looking forward to next chapter. Bill in a tux. Sexy dancing with Laura. mmmm....

The book thing between them is just one of the laws of the pairings, I think. Doesn't matter how AU you go, you can't really change it.

And indeed, Bill gets dressed up in the next chapter. They all do. He also gets an eyeful ;)

Wouldn't even feel like Bill and Laura without the book!love.

I don't know where I'm heading with Dee yet, but I think she - and Billy, of course - will be quite a bit more prominent in the sequel.

The reading was really lovely. I can easily follow Laura's line of thought, it being useless taking the treatment if they all die at the ball. I love how Bill's voice comforts her and she forces herself not to think about it too much.

And Dee, I'm soo hoping she won't frak this up with Lee this time. She and Billy were such a sweet couple.

I really can't wait for the ball and the dancing. ♥

I love that Bill needed Dee to tie his tie!!!

I read a couple of chapters together and I am still really really enojoying this. The scene between Laura and Richard was drop dead sexy, she exuded such power and left him just panting.

Wally's running commentary about Bill the bull-dog had me rolling on the floor. Love it, love it.

Can't wait to see more.
