Omg! If Maura's hurt, I am afraid of what Jane could do to that man with the knife. Poor Maura. :(

Yeah, you wouldn't want to be in his sneakers would you? Thanks for reading :-)

Lovely. (Is it okay to say that when--presumably--a character's life hangs in the balance?) Still, lovely.

Heh, I think that's okay to say. And I appreciate it. Thank you.

Well that's just wrong, well written, but totally wrong ;-)

LOL. I won't leave it hanging for long, I promise. It's not a WIP, it's all finished and should be up by the end of the week. Cheers for reading.

Gah, there's no pleasing some folk! You asked for fic, I wrote fic *giggles* I also wanted entertaining through my night shift last night and I have to say, the feedback was very entertaining... ;-)

Yep, you're right. I guess next time I'll be more specific. ;-) I must confess, I did do a mental happy dance when I saw that you had posted a new one.

And... I guess what you did is no worse than Jane shooting a perp, THROUGH HER OWN BODY, and then having to wait almost a year to see the fallout. I have faith that you won't make us wait a year!

Now that I've reminded myself how much better YOUR take on that whole situation was compared to the actual second season premiere, I now have no choice but to forgive you for the not-so-little cliffhanger you left with this time.

Seriously, thanks for a great start and please post the next part soon! Enjoy your night shift...

Which reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask you. (Wow, this is turning into a really long comment.) I don't know how close you are to London, but are you involved any (in your job) with the 2012 Olympics? You can PM me if you'd rather not answer in an open forum.

:-) @ mental happy dances! I was sort of caught between books really. I'd sent the new one off to the boss (good news pending!) and couldn't bring myself to start anything else until I'd heard about that. Fic seemed like the perfect thing to write to fill the break.

I won't make you wait a year, I'm just about to do battle with lj to put up part two...although I'm not sure that's going to end well either *g*

The night shift was bearable. The fact that I am now running on 4 hours sleep, less so.

As for the Olympics. We're a good four hour drive away from London, so it's a bit of a distant thing that's just going on down South really. They did ask our ambulance service to provide some paramedics to staff the games and I'm sure they had a big response but - if I'm honest - I really wasn't interested (and, having said that about a big response, I've not heard of anyone I know applying to go down there!)
