As for more - never say never. This was a lot of fun to write and there's a hell of a lot of time to kill before S2 finally kicks off again ;-)

I so cannot wait for the premier! They better not leave ANY of this stuff out. As good as this was perhaps you should be writing for them, especially to make sure they don't skip ahead to the hospital. >_

I hereby offer my services to the R&I production peeps to provide any and all H/C advice that they might need *g* Actually - as woeful as the plotting for the show is - they get the character stuff right on the nail so hopefully we'll be in safe hands come season 2.

I like your portrayal of Maura. I also believe that when faced with Jane shot she will step up and do what she needs to do to save her life. In the finale it seemed like just as they cut to the credits she was more than half way to Jane's side before Jane even hit the pavement. Brave considering there was still a weapon around that Bobby could have attempted to use.
Ack! Can't believe we have to wait until July, but with Fics like this one, I may just survive until then!
Favorite line - and I can absolutely see this in the premier.
“I promise.” Jane brought her hand up to cover Maura’s, her blood sticking their fingers together. She shook her head and closed her eyes as a thought suddenly occurred to her. “Jesus, ma’s never gonna let me hear the fuckin’ end of this.”

Thank you taking the time to leave such lovely feedback. I can't resist a good bit of medical drama so there could well be more...

Oh, ITA. She was well on her way over there, consequences bedamned. I'm guessing the poor love will be having some nightmares of her own as a result.

*laughs* Oh you know Ange is going to have something to say about all this! And - if her reaction to the broken nose in See One... is anything to go by - it's all going to be Jane's fault.
