I’m taking a creative non-fiction writing class and we have two opportunities to submit writing for workshopping - I have never done this before. 3. Would I care if none of it were true? It would still be an interesting tale of what makes someone tick, in part.
4. I admire that you took your childhood "Stars are cool, I wanna be an astronaut" imaginings with you into academia and beyond. I was too scared to try, and despite straight As in math and science courses, stuck with the more familiar humanities and social sciences (that M.A. lent sooo much prestige during late night nursing and diaper changes).

4. Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm getting workshopped this week, pretty nervous but also rather excited! This topic causes a whole bunch of angst in my life so I thought, why not -- at least I could write about it honestly. Still trying to figure it all out -- but perhaps it's always like this (for you too!)
