That's lovely. How old is tenth grade, again? It's written in a very straightforward manner, but it's very effective.

The students were 15-16 years old. I received four other essays I intend to submit to the Romani Holocaust Archives in Austin, Texas.

They should be honoured. You must be proud. You're doing wonderful things, spreading awareness like this. Who knows what you might inspire them to do.
