Rating: um, hard R? Not quite NC-17
Summary: Remember the 'Normal Again' dailies? Yeah, well, same day of shooting just... later.

If anyone de-friends you, can I friend you twice? I used to find RPF squicky until I joined the wangst_club, and realized that "James" and "Sarah" and "Nicky" are characters, as much as Spike, Buffy and Xander are characters. Now, I'm hanging out at the "treller" (cracktrailer), reading schlock_horror and definitely going to hell in a handbasket (which is probably better than going to hell in a handjob, at any rate)!

That said, *sniff sniff* this ficlet was so sad. Nicky's stuttering was perfect, his wanting reassurance that he wasn't an alcoholic, James wanting someone to want him instead of Spike, and the "immaculate orgasm" (sob)---loved it all!

And I am so coveting your LJ layout/colors. This is exactly the LJ I would have myself if I could actually figure out how to make any changes in the model it came with! I am such a Giles!

I think RPS is really hard! Jossverse characterization is easy, I know those characters, but real people. I don't know them at all. So, yeah, I agree, they are just characters that happen to resemble/have the same name/have similar history as the actors. *completes believes this in a happy, denial-like manner*

Thanks about the layout too. My first few layouts really sucked, just play with the colors. The background is just a resized, color enhanced sunset pic I found at one of those free-image sites. I'm a techo-retard, if I can do it, you can do it!

Shush! This is supposed to be sooper seekrit, but much of the RPS and RPF I've read are just characters that happen to resemble/have the same name/have similar history as the actors. 'cause nobody else knows the real people either. They know the Jossverse characters and other than certain well-known facts (Smidge is married to FPJ; James isn't a vampire but rather a hyperactive sorta geek from Modesto who drinks too much Red Bull and uses altogether too many Nicotine patches) the RP characters pretty much act and think in ways similar to the JV characters (except for all the Hot!Gay!Sex that's generally going on, and SMG usually dumps FPJ for James. . .)

hey babe! I came over from Buffy RPS and was so psyched to see your name there! Love the story. So sad and bittersweet. JM just wanting to be wanted for him, and not Spike. Nicky stuttering b/c he's so overwhelmed and embarrassed. God, you rock. I too, missed the big over flow of Dailies real spander kissage RPS, that didn't happen. Thank you so much for giving us what we so needed.

I have a theory that JM is such a spastic schmuck because he has a Spike complex. Like he has ''who am I if I am not Spike?' issues.... or maybe he's just lame in real life.*shrug*

LOL Yeah,um I'll give ya that he was spazzy on TRL, but haven't you seen the Amazon.com interview? He's much more "real life" there. Calmer, more grown up, but still sexy (w/his sly crotch grabbing) I think he just gets nervous. I've noticed when there's an audience and another actor, he's a spaz. But when the spotlights on him alone, and it's more intimate? He seems more himself. Just some random observations. Let me know if you want the interview link.

I don't read RPS. Unless it's funny or it's as hot as this. And the mention of infidelity grounds it. Fictional, never happen in a million years (unfortunately), but I really liked it.

Wonderful job, babe - nobody in their right (or left) mind would defriend you because of this. If they really don't like RPS, then they don't need to click on the cut.

The infidelity thing is probably why I read more James/Christian Kane RPS than JM/DB or JM/NB (actually there isn't that much James/Nicky), but this would not leave me alone.
