Random: When I was 18 or so (possibly a bit younger, but I know I was legal in TX) The Roots came to Las Cruces with Bahamadia, Jurassic5 and Slum Village. We went, good times. I literally ran into Questlove. I bumbled and an apology and he was so nice and then I said I wished I had something for him to sign because his autograph would make my night. Laura, he bought me a freaking poster (refused to take it for free) and signed it all big n stuff. Still have it. So yeah, good music, good people. Oddly, the only autographs I have are his and Sherman Hemsley's
