Help with AVs on Guardian Redside

Somehow I've got several missions with AV's/EB's in them. In my docket now are 'Steal Alloy from Silver Mantis' and 'Punish Countess Crey'. I was able to get Silver Mantis down to about 15% health or so when she screamed, killed the Shivan and kicked my ass. I used RotP and she kicked it again. I haven't tried Countess Crey yet but I usually

If you can't get a team together, then stock up on purple inspirations. You have enough tray space that you could full up on blues and kick their asses. I'm guessing you're taking them on as EB's, so they shouldn't be too hard.

The key is 4 purples for the beginning of the fight, and 4 for the end, for when they sometimes go in to god mode. Any in between should carry you throughout the fight.

Silver Mantis is a horrible AV/EB to solo, due to her constantly hitting Build Up and throwing down a caltrop field below you. Countess Crey isn't so bad except for the fact that she calls reinforcements when she drops below a certain health.

Best bet is to use the purple insps. Hell, I would load up my entire tray with them if I were you. If they can't hit you, you'll defeat them in no time!

yeah, I've solo'd pretty much every AV (at EB level) on blueside with the help of a bunch of purple inspirations. Highly recommended for the solo hero/villian.

Here's a tip: Roll a bots/traps MM and you'll be solo'ing AV's (AV level) with little trouble. It's worth it, trust me.

Infernal is hard too, I waited till he was -2 to solo him as a Hero and it still took 15 minutes.

Perhaps you can get the two of them to fight?
