[ She recognizes that wail, and she immediately springs into action on her end, ignoring the white, glowing pixie thing hovering around her? ]

Hope! Where are you?

[rebeliune]

[ She switches to a Commando, intending to launch one of them up to the sky. She rushes to do just that and keep it airborne for as long as she attacks before she ultimately falls back down and keeps away for a moment to recover. These sort of Cie'th don't last long, and so when one of them hits the ground with a thud, she finishes it off with one last swing. ]

( he cuts his arm back, breathing in deeply and turning on the other one ambling around; focusing and letting off another set of spells )

[ As he sets off that barrage, Lightning hammers down with slashes from her Blazefire Saber. The monster makes an attempt at swinging its arm towards her head, but she jumps back in time, all the while switching her weapon to gun-mode and shooting the offending limb away. ]

( noticing it's increasingly louder cries, he pulls back and casts Blizzaga spell, finally knocking into it past it's stagger point and backs off to allow Light the chance to launch it. )

[ She takes that cue, and with a wide, arching swing of her blade, she sends it flying in the air, jumping high to give it a few more licks of her blade. It gives a guttering cry, and Lightning Smites it to oblivion, landing safely on the ground afterward. ]

That takes care of that. [ Swishes her Blazefire Saber back into its holster. Turns to Hope. ]

You all right?

[purgedhope]

( and with that done, he falls into a seated position on the ground. )

Lots better, now that they're gone. But I'm fine, thanks a lot Light.

[ Nods, then looks around. ]

Do you remember where those Cie'th came from, Hope? If they've shown up, then-

[ She's interrupted by that flying pixie that's been haunting her since she woke up. "Hey! Hey! Listen!" it screams, causing her to glare at it and nudge it aside. ]

I was just walking around and then I turn a corner and there it was.

( he narrows a look on the pixie thing, huh, that reminds me him... ) Made a new friend?

[rebeliune]

[ Shakes her head. ] I woke up to the thing. It won't stop repeating what it's already saying.

[purgedhope]

Something similar was ar-- ( "HEY! WATCH OUT!" oh look, light. here's a friend for yours. ) --Yeah, you're a little late for the watch outs.

[ ... God. ] They multiply. Great.
