I am totally whacking my head against the wall after that finale, seeing that the ENTIRE Castiel-centric episode was foreshadowing, including the title. Your second to last line reminds me of this - how he was becoming "Who he was meant to be"

Great job, I love the feelings that Cas has, and I agree with him in many points. Especially how Dean wouldn't believe in him.

I'm glad you liked it! I love writing from Castiel's perspective, especially when he's...slightly messed up. And yeah, watching 'Let It Bleed' I was mentally yelling at Dean for most of it, especially at the 'This doesn't change anything. Oh, by the way, can you heal my girlfriend and then wipe her memories, kthxbi.'

Yeah, I agree with you. Dean has a lot of trust issues - he basically did the same thing with Sam. Wonder if he's noticed a pattern. People who have to make tough decisions who don't have the support from the one person they need it from the most end up making bad/wrong choices, which are actually the only one they can make BECAUSE no one believes in them. Lol...I think I just confused myself.
