finally got round to watching the First Class deleted scenes

I kind of liked them. The whole 'It's that way *awkward pause*' bit looked like Erik and Charles had suddenly found themselves in a bad sitcom. (Am I the only person who thinks X-Men: First Class would work really well as a sitcom?)

And the kids getting into all these Situations, like Alex setting the building on fire every five minutes, and Erik all 'Why, why did we take responsibility for a horde of children, Charles, we are dysfunctional enough by ourselves.' And Shaw appearing out of nowhere every few episodes with ridiculously convoluted plans. And Raven getting all the zingy one-liners. And Hank turning into one of the geeks from The Big Bang Theory. And Sean wandering around with 'sandwiches'.

Yeah, I can't pretend that wouldn't be awesome.

Ridiculously inspired to start a fic with this idea. Should it follow the basic XM:FC plot (ie. missiles, etc.) or should it be more of an episodic thing like 'Friends'?
