being a poet

been thinking
about being a poet
and what it means to me
these poems are good i guess
i try
its hard
which is probably why i'm thinking now
about how most good poems are depressing
and i dont want people to think im depressed
cuz im really not
im just borrowing a poetic license
cuz this poet stuff gives me leeway
to be who im not
