It's been about 4 years since I posted to this journal.  In that time, we had another baby boy (now 2.5), Chris graduated, got a job and then another job and he is finally happy in his career, at age 40.  Chris was diagnosed with Bipolar and has worked really hard to become stable and figure out his meds.  Chris and I have both had some therapy off

Figuring out meds is so SO good. And important. Struggling with mental illness has been my life, so I get it. :/

It seems like you guys have had a big, tumultuous, and also great year. I feel like our last year, has been treading, and a lot of bad. Not complaining - treading is fine compared to before - but still. Hoping for more growth in 2017.

I'm glad you updated. I'm going to try and keep up with mine as much as I can. But it feels strange, right? Updating a journal? I almost feel awkward about it. which is so strange because from 2004 - 2011, this was my only outlet, source of friends, everything!

Wow, so many things in such a short time! It seems as though all is looking well, which is so wonderful to read. I'm happy for you and Chris and your family. :-) I've been following your work in Chicago etc with awe. Amazing.
