What a shiny, inviting window. If I were a kid, I would WANT to go inside to see the magic for myself. Heck, I am allegedly an adult I want to be in that room. {}
I'm glad you told us you're in a happy mood. That makes me smile. {}
Do you have holiday traditions you try to follow every year?
Isn't that window wonderful? In the link is the image credit, a photographer named Ming who lives in NYC and takes a photo every day in NYC. Some of them are just amazing...and this window captures all the best of the winter holidays and the magical feeling of snow, little treasures, and the celebration of light.
Yes, I too am glad I'm in a happy mood. And it's good to see you back around, also. Sometimes it takes a while to get our druthers together and essentially reach out and be public again through a post - and just getting to that point feels good.
The combination of Christmas and the Solstice are my favorite time of year. My holiday traditions range from going to mass, decorating with white lights, building or creating something w/ my friends and family that will last throughout the year (this year it's an elaborate dollhouse for my neighbor's granddaughter), and plenty of shared feasts here and on the other coast.
I'm looking forward to seeing you more here, and wishing you all the best this holiday season.
Thank you! And I'll be thinking of you and your creatures this holiday season. We have our hands full right now - but something about this season and the weather are bringing out the best in the people, getting calls from people who are, despite the economy, taking care of animals that need help here in the city and opening up their homes to them, with me and their vets as a guide. What more can I ask for?? :)
Aw, thank you, Sharon. And it's good to see you here, too - you changed your LJ name while I was away! Wishing you a cozy time in your snowy neck of the woods.
