Starting at 7 Eastern/4 Pacific tonight, the epic FREEDOM PRAETORIAN SURGE starts! If we're able to get 2,500 people on Freedom at once (because this is also a stress test for their new server tech), there'll be an account-wide badge that becomes available

Additionally, and the Crew of the Galactic Pelican (from Virtue) made a temporary excursion to Freedom for this event.

I will be assembling our team starting a few minutes before go-time at the U-Ball in Cap au. If other LJers want to show up to join the fun, I'll make a league. We're easy to find; we'll be the really pink, gaudy group.

If you don't see us or log in late, send a tell to Step Off or @Liz and let me know what level you are so you can be placed appropriately. I'll try to keep an eye on LJ chat as well.

Our alts made it to the low 20s, so I'll do my best to put higher level people together in their own teams within the league. This being Freedom, I expect multiple instances and we will utilize one that has decent population without too much lag. So don't be surprised to be bouncing around Cap au 2 or 3, but once I pick a zone, unless it becomes unstable we'll be sticking to that.

Well, I only got mapserved once, fairly early on. And I managed to chase Black Swan all over the map with a leaping character, only to find she was set unattackable. :)

A few of the AVs were untargettable when the devs took control of them - but that just meant that they became the focus of trash-talk instead :-p
