Um. Why is the Shadow Shard fun? I have tried going in there several times over several years, with different characters, with and without teams, and all I ever get is confused, lost and considerably annoyed. Plainly there is some vital understanding I am missing about this zone: help?
P.S. please don't send me to ParagonWiki, already been there, not helpful in this case
P.P.S. no, this isn't sarcastically intended, I would love to suddenly figure out what I have been missing all this time

I can't speak for anyone else, but I love the shard because it's a unique (albeit, difficult) map that's incredibly beautiful, and has unique and interesting monsters, and storylines (via the TFs). Every time I'm in that zone, it takes my breath away, and I want more reasons to be there. While the majority of the CoX story is justifiably focused around Paragon City and Rogue Isles, the Shard (and Portal Corp) open up this new area of interdimensional strife and travel, shadows of our own world, and other such things that are common to the super hero genre

Currently villains don't have access to it at all. Only thru missions do they get any kinda glimpse of it.
Seeing how the Rularuu hate all life... I think it would make an idea co-op high level zone. If they drop more contacts with story arcs in there it would be an interesting place to play in. It's big problem really is lack of story arcs.
That and travel, but at least you can buy jet packs there. A start. I would still rather have it be a zero-G area with pockets of gravity around the islands in it.
