Well, global seems to have just gone down the tubes. GMOTD popped up, suddenly my global handle was changed to my character's name, all global friends gone, all global channels gone and claiming they do not exist...

Whee.

Oh my. Because of this post I looked and same thing has happened to me. I hope this does get fixed soon :^P

This has happened before once before in my memory; it means the global database crashed or something like that. Give them a couple hours to get everything back in order and it'll all be put back as you remember it, don't worry.

Oh, I'm not worried, I remember the last time it happened. Hell, I still had the global rename left over from then.

Globals are back up but all the global channels are still gone. They have to be 'recreated.' I'm hesistant to recreate any and would rather just wait for a restoration.

However, you get globally renamed to whatever toon you first log onto so.. maybe they will have to hand out global rename tokens? I dunno.

If there's a global name you want I suggest grabbing it now. :P
