[It wasn't a hard thing to guess. Dende was homesick and missed his family too. And so did Kisa, and Mr. Dean... and after Gokudera got so mad at him on that first day, well things had been made very clear.]

Well~ If you really want, maybe I could borrow a little bit of your energy! So that way Tetsurunga can be a little part of you too!

[Dende smiles, but still looks a bit worried. To try and cheer his friend up even a little bit more he reaches up and puts his hand on Gokudera's cheek.]

We can do it together! Okay!

This will be so much fun Gokudera! Tetsurunga will be super strong if you help me make him! I bet no other Namekian has every had help making Dragon Balls before!

You think so? I don't know if I have the same kind of strength you do. Humans aren't separated into classes like Namekians.

I know! But I can still use a bit of your energy! It's kind of like how when I heal I can replenish energy too! I do that by giving you my own life energy! Here! Let me see your hand! I'll show you!

[He takes Gokudera's hand in his own, palm up, and puts his underneath. Dende focuses hard and in a second there's a small ball of light in Gokudera's hand. Dende has to focus hard trying to channel both Gokudera's energy and his energy]

See this is our energy! It makes you a little tired right?

[The little ball dissipates and Dende lets out a sigh.]

Everything that lives has life energy! I have a whole lot so I can do stuff with it! But in it's purest form it's all the same!

[The teen offers his hand, then watches, feeling first before anything happens a slight warmth where Dende's energy meets with his own. The longer that warmth seems to be pulling at him, the more he tries to focus his concentration.

Then he notices the lights. It catches him off guard and he jumps, stunned to find that something like that came from him as well. Gokudera's mouth falls open slightly and then before he knows it, it's gone, leaving him at most a little tired.]

That... that was amazing!

[Gokudera's eyes sparkle as he looks down adoringly at the Namekian child.]

It will be easier when we're making the Dragon Balls, since I'm better at that! I'm bad at ki-blasts like that!

[Dende smiles his chest swelling with pride. Whenever Gokudera looked at him like that he couldn't help it, he felt like he could do anything. And he would work as hard as he could to make Gokudera happy]

[He gives Gokudera's hands a squeeze with his two tiny ones]

We will go to Earth soon Gokudera! And you can show me what it's like! A-and I can meet Mr. Tenth! And all of your friends!

[Oh, Gokudera, just having you nearby is enough to make Dende the happiest little Namekian ever! And when Gokudera is happy, so is Dende!]

[There's a bit of loneliness that tries to creep up as he remembers his boss, only to have it squashed by the hug that Dende is giving him]

Yeah. [It comes out like a content sigh and he pats the Namekian's back, content with his company.]
