[The device turns on. You may see an odd bluster of what you can only describe as what looks like a section of tornado. The device is positioned to look up at the tallest diving board in the diving pool. You see Hope at the top. Before he moves back, and takes a running dive off of the end of it. He hit's the water with a minimal splash

[He grins down the feed at her, taking some of his water.]

The pool is great! I did some general swimming too.

[For a couple minutes, there's no reply, until she comes up and crouches beside the pool. She no longer trusts the communications, even if they're locked.]

Swimming is used in physical therapy sometimes. It might help your leg regain whatever strength Cure couldn't get back for you.

It's actually really good. I can run on it now as well. I just kept up with the stretches that you showed me and tried not to use the crutch as much as possible. Now? I'm all better!

[He smiles, subconsciously wrapping the towel around his exposed torso. Lightning didn't need to see his scrawny physique.]

That's really good! Where did you learn to dive like that?

I lived in a port town. There were cliffs that hang over the ocean and if you couldn't dive the other kid's would push you off.

Well... not all kids are nice like me. And I've always been quite good at swimming and diving. My Dad taught me when I was little.

[He grins at the new kid.]

[Snow is spending a fair amount of his time in District 2 and the HSW complex anyway, so it probably shouldn't be a surprise that as soon as he'd seen Hope was poolside, he'd started heading up that way. It's only a few moments later before he walks up to the pool, shoving his communicator back into a pocket. And grinning.]

I grew up by the sea and I couldn't have done a better one.

[He swam up to the edge and climbs out grinning at Snow.]

I lived in a port town Snow. Palumpolum is on the sea. There were the cliffs you had to be able to dive from or you were a wimp.

[He grinned wiping his face.]

We had all those kind of challenges back in Bodhum, too. Funny how no one really hurries to call you a wimp when you shoot up this high overnight.

[He's grinning, for any number of reasons. Chief among them is that a cheerful Hope is just refreshing to talk to.]

Well. To be honest, you're nearly half my height added on top of me again. And you've saved me too many times to be called a wimp.
