Thanks! :) I still haven't seen Generation Kill, but thanks to the indoctrination of one of my LJ-friends, I've been schooled on it and its fandom. Plus I have the American Idiot musical soundtrack on my MP3 player, in which Sands plays a soldier again, so he is pretty much defined as Adorable American Soldier Boy in my head. I'm amused that you thought he was a woman, though! He is prettier than he has any right being, admittedly.
