I used to use an FTP client that was written by Germans. The translation wasn't complete. Sometimes you'd get a cancel button that read "Abreitzung" or some shit. And the hotkeys in the menus were shown as "Strg-X" instead of "Ctrl-X". It was cool.
As you can tell, I'm reading in reverse here. I think that this sort of fixation can be incredible at turns. I have the tendency to fixate and/or obsess over nearly everything (it just varies depending on what seems more immediate at any given moment), but I do feel that this sort of obsession can be healthy and very often, muse-like. I have to get back to work, but wanted to comment on this...the honeymoon stage of this sort of thing is always fun...

czech it out:
file->new->new window is
soubor->nový objekt->okno
but it's still Ctrl-N as the accelerator.
and it's a QMERTZ keyboard. which is fine.
but what's really weird is that they switched the DIVIDE key (forward slash) and the NUMLOCK. why? why would you do that?

Yeah, it's good. Incredible, even.
And inducing vomit can be fun.
