Two years ago, I was gearing up to take a trip to Israel. It was to be the first time I visited the land of my birth since my bar-mitzvah, my first time as a man, my first time alone, my first time not during the summer. Someday we should compare impressions of Israel. It's so different than here.

We shall do so one day.

I miss visiting, but am truly unsure how much I'd want to live and work there. I thought about it once, but it's really not that much of a concern considering how resistant I am to moving anywhere, let alone overseas.
