I heard the beginning of it on the radio when I was out with my mum... and I was like "Wooo the Cure!" and I turned it up... then it started sounded weird... and I was like "booo 311... " and I turned it down... then I heard really quietly "how ever long I stay... I will always love you" and I was like "311 does The Cure!? NOOOO APOCALYPSE!!!"

Oh man yeah... the only Cure cover I've ever heard that I actually liked was Jack Off Jill's cover of Lovesong. The end.

Well for christ sake... who would be stupid enough to be like "Gee, we need a cover of this here Cure song... why not get 311 to do it! They're on par with The Cure!"
First of all, why didn't they just use the original for that stupid movie soundtrack, rather than have someone cover it? And second of all, why did it have to be 311!?!??!? Whyyyy? Why couldn't they have used Jack Off Jill's cover of it!?

*sigh* I hate 311, and I'm really offended that anyone let them make a cover of a song by a band so amazing that no one is on par with them.

I don't really like Jack Off Jill but it doesn't matter because that was the worst idea for a movie ever. So the worst idea for a coversong ever fits it suitably - even though it still pissed me off when I heard it. I would have even rather heard Anberlin's cover for that movie even though I hate them & I hope I never run into them ever for the rest of my life :)
