Panic was my gateway into bandom too! They are also the only band I've never seen live so I'm so excited for HCT.

Drink lots of tea and orange juice hon. And look at lots of pictures of Frank. His awesomeness will cure you.

They're a pretty darn good gateway, it seems. Ooh, that's so exciting you'll get to see them for the first time! I saw them play one festival, but have never seen them headline. It should be awesome.

Hey there from a friendly lurker. I'm new to the whole concert/festival thingie and was wondering...esp with Bamboozle Left and MCR - should I assume they play both days? Or is it something where they only play one of the two days, which day to be announced?

I'm stoked about the chance to go, but money wise should only go one day(So Cal girl, so easy drive), esp if I want to see them elsewhere this year.

Hi there! :) No, I'm pretty sure they're only going to play one of the days. At the moment, you can only buy the weekend passes, but single day tickets will be available February 2nd. By then they should announce which bands are playing which days.

Heh, I originally planned to hold off and buy a one day ticket, but quickly got angsty and broke down. For I am weak. (I will try to save money in other ways!) You should definitely try to make it, though. They're amazing live and it seems they might be taking a break from touring very soon.

OMG THAT IS SO AWESOME THAT YOU'RE SEEING MCR. I'm jealous but mostly INCREDIBLY excited for you because who knows when we will get to see them tour next? Yeah and you've already promised to tell me all about it. :P And you've NEVER seen them with Mikey?!?! Okay I'm more excited for you now because MIKEYWAY, it's just not the same without him and I seriously could not take my eyes off him during my concert.

I'm glad we both got over the whole Brendon incident and I definitely know what you mean about it being good to get more confirmation that they really are good people. I mean we're in this fandom because we love and respect them as people too so it's not nice to think that they might not be. That interview is the best ever, it made me all flaily and full of squee again, Jon & Spencer are ADORABLE and I love those boys.

ugh those application things do not sound fun, I hope you get them all done and also that you don't get a cold. Drink lots of water and there's awesome Panic stuff to cheer you up. ♥

I KNOW!! I AM REALLY, REALLY EXCITED! I really wasn't expecting a chance to see them for a long time, so this news pretty much made my life. Hee, and I'll definitely tell you about it! I know! It's completely ridiculous that I've never seen them with Mikey. He was my first favorite MCR boy, and I love him muchly! I'm pretty sure I used too many exclamation points in that paragraph, but whatever. ;)

Yeah, I definitely agree with all of that. I mean, I can obsess over people for plenty of reasons, but in order to love for a long time, I need to know they're decent people. I want to respect and believe in the people I admire. So it's very nice to get confirmation of that. Plus, !!! with the adorable!

Bleh, it's not especially fun, but not as bad as they could be. Thanks so much. I've stayed healthy so far, but recently visited with a couple of friends who were sick, so I'm a bit worried again. *takes vitamins*
