I know what you mean. I've got more than a few of those myself.

But I'm pretty happy with how things are now?

I think everyone does. It's not a game I like playing. It's not like we can really change anything anyway, right? So what good does focusing on it do? I don't know.

I am too. So I guess I'm glad I don't have to decide what I would change.

Yeah, exactly. If you start thinking about it you start regretting stuff and it just sucks all around.

Want to marathon Friends with me? Or dude, we could totally work on homework together.

Yes. Or you don't regret things you maybe should, because good things came after.

I like this plan! We can do both. Half an hour of studying, half an hour of Friends. ;)

...I think it's my turn to say this to you:

You're not a bad person for not wanting to change things that have happened in your past. I like where we are now, and I think that we might not be here if some things were different.

I love you, Ciss.

I know. Stupid therapy. But--I think you're right. And I like where we are now too, very, very much.

I love you too.

Good. Just making sure we were clear on that. I don't want you to feel guilty about the way our life is. I like to think we're pretty happy.

We're clear. I really don't feel guilty. (And I'm resisting the urge to feel guilty about not feeling guilty!) Besides, it would be kind of hypocritical of me to not take my own advice, right? How would I ever get you to listen to me? ;)

I am very happy. You make me happy.

Hey. You know if you ever do need to unload, I've been there. Sometimes a journal's all you need. But if you need someone who can actually talk back... you know how to get in touch.
