Heeeeeeeeee!! <333333333 That is such an awesome combination!!
(...The monkey in that book/movie does NOT help Cissie's monkey issues. ;))
...And on re-watching, I also realize it's kind of a creepy combination, and I can't help thinking of the kinds of mothers Bonnie and Marissa are and now my brain is very confused.
(Aws, poor Cissie. She's right, that monkey is creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy!!)
It is bizarre. I was looking for icons (see icon!) and I found this challenge: Asriel/Marisa icons with the text "Bad parenting never looked so sexy". Which is hilarious and also true. Marisa is NOT a good Mommy role model but Carol likes her because she's awful and still redeemable so...at least she realizes ;)
(SCARY MONKEY! It's too bad the daemon is unnamed in the books, but then again, if Carol named her monkey after him, Cissie would be so disturbed.)
It's true!! Haha, oh Carol. I kind of feel like writing something about Bonnie now, but I have no idea what I want to say there. Maybe if I found the right prompt. The parallels are kind of scary--the awful but redeemable-ness, etc.
