More Zombie Fun

Some concept art I found from the upcoming movie adaptation of one of my favorite books, World War Z.  Portrayed is the Battle of Yonkers, an important event in the book, where the infected population of New York City marches up the Hudson River bank and the US Army tries, for the first time, to stop them using conventional methods.

And fails.

Loved that book. The concept art looks a little too action-packed for the events that were described, though. One thing I like is a visual representation of the combat armor the soldiers were described as wearing, though.

As a movie, I imagine that'd be one of their big money scenes. They would, obviously, ramp that one up a bit and I'm ok with that so long as the movie remains as close as they can get to the book.

And, yes, that's one of my favorite books, too. I loved it.

I don't know how it'd stay *that* close to the book, as the book is really a clerical examination of the war, rather than a dramatic story.

I'd imagine they'd focus more on the experiences of the character, though. Can't really do much else.

No, I don't. I keep meaning to pick it up.
