I don't know if this will work as a prompt, but sort of a follow-up to the rudeness that led to my not wearing collars with rings was that I've been asked to act the role of dom/chaperone/girlfriend to friends who weren't interested in the attentions of those at the club. One time I took the chain off my wallet and clipped it to a friend's collar after the resident "sketchy regular" hit on her.
