Sooooo, this is kind of weird? The boy thinks as he stands up, pulling his blue hood down as he starts to look around the large tend. His eyebrows swoop to give his face an expression of confusion, his hands moving to sit on his hips as he twirls in a circle to get a full view of this place. Kind of odd? He was JUST on his way to go searching for

Sometime since his arrival, Equius has found a bag of candy peanuts. You know, the bright orange marshmallowy things that no one likes? Yeah, them. He sniffs at one cautiously as he wanders along, wrinkling his nose in distaste. "Humans actually ingest this filth? It hardly looks nutritional at all."

He takes a bit out of it anyway, his eyebrow twitching as he chews. "This is horrendous!" He eats another one. "Even worse than I had originally surmised!" And another. "I cannot believe anyone would willingly put something this distasteful into their proteinchute!" And another. "Oh gog, I can't stop. This is utterly delicious, exquisite depravity!"

Oh hey, what's that lovely blue speck floating in the sky? He'll just wander in that direction while stuffing his face with funky carnival food.

"Oh, do not worry. I have seen all the human cinema I ever need to see." In the form of Vriska making high-pitched wriggler noises and taking off for her respiteblock, leaving her computer abandoned. Frankly, he wasn't impressed.

"Aww, but there's so many things you should see! If we ever get out of here I need to send you some sweet files!" He smirks and gives Equius a thumbs up.

"No. No, you really don't." He's going to send them anyway, isn't he? He won't conveniently forget at all? "What were you saying about a "Ferris Wheel?""

"Oh yeah!" John, completely forgot about that, haha. He runs over to the entrance in the tent and looks out side. Soon he looks back at Equius, pointing out of the tent in some direction.

"That! It's a carnival ride!"

Wow, if he didn't know any better, it would be like he was talking to Nepeta. He'd have to remember how easily distracted the blue human was.

Rolling his eyes behind his glasses, Equius followed John out of the tent, looking in the direction he indicated. Ah. Well, it was certainly wheel-shapped, yes. "Okay. And you are pointing it out because you would like to ride it?"

"Yeah! Hey, we should go look at it! It doesn't look like it will, work, but, I could probably get it to move! And maybe we can find some other stuff on the way! I apparently have to go to my meeting place too? There are some kinds of ...groups here? I saw quadrants, I don't know if I'm a part of one though?"

"There are facial markings that correspond with each group." Equius pulls down his glasses just enough for John to see the blue diamond at the outer corner of his right eye, then beckons him closer. "Gamzee and I are in Diamonds. Karkat is in Spades, and Nepeta in Hearts. Your marking is not readily visible, come closer so that I may examine your face."

He looks down at his cheek, as if trying to see it for himself. John soon realizes this won't work and comes closer to Equius for him to see it and tell him what group he is in. With these numbers, unless he's in whatever the fourth one is, he'll get to hang out more with at least one of the trolls!

Derp. If he wasn't looking John's face over intently, he'd be rolling his eyes. Not that that it could be seen beneath his dark glasses.

Speaking of glasses, was that- no. No, it couldn't be. A blue diamond, a mirror image of the one on his face, just slightly obscured by the frames of John's glasses. Fate was surely mocking him.

"Ah... It appears as though you will be staying with Gamzee and I."

"Whooaaaaaaaa! Really? How awesome! Why don't we stick together for now then! We have to find our group place anyways!"
