You just broke my heart a little.

I love histories like this, and you really managed to capture everything about Anders' life - the lows and highs. I have to admit I was surprised to see a happy ending... until I kept reading and realized it wasn't an ending.

I love the image of Anders petting his kitten while talking to a decaying Justice. I feel like it really reflects something about him, that he can pet the kitty and at the same time talk civilly to something kind of horrific. That kind o little detail made the fic for me - Isabela's appearance, their plan of action post-Kirkwall, Anders' many escape attempts...

I also appreciate your use of lyrics. They added something to this fic for me, so.
