So, I noticed this on the wiki, when talking about Feastday gifts you can give for your party (emphasis mine):
"Wynne
Gift: Amulet of Memories : An amulet that summons visions of characters like Greagoir and Petra to appear next to Wynne. It can summon Aneirin too, if you finish Wynne's personal quest."
Wynne can summon an image of Greagoir at any

1. Aneirin, her biggest regret. Makes sense that she'd think of him first considering she's been contemplating death a lot recently.
2. Greagoir. Only makes sense for him to show up as number 2 if he's her ~*ex-lover*~. Or maybe they are secret BFFs. THE WORLD MAY NEVER KNOW.
3. Irving, her BFF/bromance/boss/maybe ex-lover. Totally makes sense as number three, but then begs the question of what Greagoir did to appear before Irving.
4. Petra, her student/daughter-figure. Again, totally makes sense.
5. "Temple Guard" WTF? Is this what she imagines her son to look like? Is he her ex-lover? Is he a mage? WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN KNOW.

(I'm clearly thoroughly on the Greagoir + Wynne = Cullen...would explain why, despite some people's insistence otherwise, Greagoir really isn't a bad guy, and actually respects Irving and treats the mages like people...people with power who can make bad decisions that REALLY fuck shit up...but...yeah...)
(Also Shakespeare handpuppet is almost better than cross-eyed devil puppet...who does nothing but bitch bitch bitch whine whine whine...)

And it's actually Templar Guard (type!fail, I know). The interesting thing about him is that he is seen in the praying position Cullen is in at the end of Broken Circle. What does that mean, then? I didn't manage to get a descent cap of him, so I couldn't see if there was any resemblance apart from the position, but in my mind it's her unconscious image of her son - who was taken by the Chantry and therefore quite likely to become a Templar. That it happens to coincide with her last image of Cullen is of course very meaningful completely coincidental.

To think, all I was on the wiki for was to see how to spell Satinalia. Who knew I would come across this little gem?
Personally, I think the writers planned on Greagoir/Wynne after the fact. Like, they checked out the fandom, went "Holy crap! What a great idea!" and then they've spread hints for it in every DLC that's come out since.
That, or they are screwing with us because they are evil that way.
(Also, my sim!Cullen and sim!Amell are happily married with three darling boys, whom I've named Stephen, Dane, and Greagoir Jr.
Guess whose fanfics inspired those names? Go on, guess.)

(I'm also sure that I'm not terribly flattered, and overjoyed that the sim!couple is doing quite happily, no siree, not at all.)
Also: Bioware? Evil? Never. ;)
