*sigh* Unfortunately, CBS did not give me what I really wanted for Christmas: an official website for the mini-series Comanche Moon. Apparently, broadcasting conglomerates are as bad at picking up on my telepathic suggestions as my mother, who once again gave me a bag of dried banana chips, despite the fact that I really don't like dried banana ( Read more... )

Yeah, I saw a thirty second spot for it on CBS, and you get to see Karl for like a fraction of a second in profile. They're really touting the roles of Val Kilmer and Rachel Griffiths, despite the fact that Karl and Steve Zahn are playing the leads. Apparently Karl's role is the younger version of the character played by Tommy Lee Jones in the original Lonesome Dove series. *shrug* I've had to put L.D. in my Netflix queue so I can feel I have some sense about what's going on. Really, I'm totally not into westerns, and have never read Larry McMurtry's novels, which I suppose makes me a bit of a lackluster Texan

You know, it's the same way for me. When I'm thinking of the hot guys on my list it's always names like Marton, Eric, and JRM who spring to mind first. Karl's always just under the radar until some new project reminds me about him. Still absolutely love his badness in Bourne Supremacy.

I heard the initial release about The Hobbit but nothing else. And, it seemed like several things I heard differed. One had PJ only producing, another him directing. I just don't know what I feel about it. It will be nice if they can get the production team back together, especially Weta, Alan Lee, etc. I think I'm just so obsessing over HP fanfic right now that it's hard for me to get overly excited when the movie is still in this nebulous initial phase. Once they tell me Sir Ian's agreed to be Gandalf again, then I'll get excited.
