Although Channing Tatum appears to have a sense of humor and can sort of dance, he's basically the epitome of Not My Type.

I'm totally with you on this one...him and Taylor Lautner...(although to be honest very few men under 30 do anything for me...hmmm...with the exception of Chris Hemsworth - esp. in his Thor incarnation).

I have just finished watching The River and was surprised that I actually pretty much enjoyed even the bits without BG. Of course I love Paul Blackthorne, especially when he's using his own accent. I liked the "on camera" conceit, I like the idea that basically no-one is who they seem to be at first - the tease of multiple possibilities of people having affairs behind other people's backs was well done. I thought the second ep was better than the first, partly because the doll thing really creeped me out - there will be no plastic dolls sleeping in our bed tonight, or teddybears - Sam can bring one of her fluffy dogs in with her ( ... )

It's true: Chris Hemsworth is very pretty. Especially with his shirt off. :)

Ah, right. I did enjoy Paul Blackthorne, too. And I even liked the first camera guy, although I was convinced he was going to die for a few minutes there. (Kinda glad he didn't.) The dolls were appropriately creepy, and in a lot of ways I did like the 2nd half better (it pulled itself together), but what I mainly didn't like was Jahel (was that her name?). I thought she was just too stereotypical. Oh, look, it's River Tam, only less crazy and deadly, and more 'exotic.' On the other hand, without her, there were six men and two women on the show, both of whom were light-haired and white ( ... )
