19,000 words and I have five scenes left either to write or finish.

In thirteen days. I wrote nineteen thousand words in thirteen days, and today ain't over yet: I could hit twenty thousand before the Colbert Report rerun is over.

WTF.

I'm always so excited about big luxurious word splurges! It feels so great - though I often feel like my brain is made of tissue paper afterwards.

Don't beat yourself up for the three months - stuff had to PERCOLATE. *grin*

This is another one of those stories--only a couple others qualify--where I feel like I'm, I don't know, fighting to get the story down before it disappears. Which is stupid, but that's what it feels like.

And it probably won't surprise you to know that the two leads are refusing to behave, which is what prompted the procrastination.

PORN IS ALWAYS AWESOME. (If only they'd get on with it.)
