This is so interesting. I like all the little signs that Lrrr and the humans don't fully understand each other. The assumptions the humans made made me wince a little.

Thank you! It has got to be awfully difficult to learn all the non-verbal cues of a language when your own species's non-verbals are all so very different, and that's what I was hoping to get across.

Well and professionally done, Nurse Lrrr! I really love how you constructed her, not least her awareness of how humans respond to her, of being surrounded by people not like her and how gracefully she dealt with the (annoying and narrowminded, what the Hell, humans) expectation that she'd know all about someone else not like her just because that person isn't like the humans.
