You know, after I decided he was Scottish, I read a pro novel in which the author had managed to get a soldier from the US -- Virginia, to be exact, complete with 'darlin's' and other Southernisms -- into Regency England. I almost rewrote it, but I liked him Scottish better. :)

So I must confess that I am pretty much the exact opposite of a Jane Austen fan...but this idea was just so nifty I had to try it. And hee! This is going to be FUN. I love how she kicks him in the knee.

I loved her kicking him in the knee, too. :) Someone needs to kick Jamie in the knee on a regular basis.
