OMG. So in between posting this and coming back to find YAY SOMEONE VOLUNTEERED SO I DON'T HAVE TO ASK ANYONE I decided to go put chicken in the oven and THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE BAG OF RAW CHICKEN which I didn't know about and it leaked raw chicken goo ALL OVER THE KITCHEN and my jeans and socks and I screeched and threw the chicken into a Pyrex pan -- the wrong one, of course, that had leftover bits of chai cookie bars in it. And then I ran around like an idiot trying to clean everything up with antibacterial-stuff-containing spray or soap or both, but THE NEIGHBORS (i live in a duplex) LEFT THEIR STUFF IN THE WASHER AND THE DRYER so I can't wash my jeans yet and they're growing salmonella in the other room which is SO GROSS!

(You will possibly be heartened to learn that I have done the exact same thing with uncooked poultry and pants and feet and socks and grossness. Except minus the chai'd pan, because I did not make chai bars prior to making chicken.)

I actually yelled at the chicken, "What are you doing in there? That's the wrong pan!" Fortunately, no one was around to hear it. I have pajama pants and squishy socks on now, so I'm happier, but I'll be happiest when I can throw my jeans and socks into the wash with VERY HOT WATER.

Well, yeah, but there's a difference between "boosette wants to read it once it's posted" and "boosette wants to read it and remind me that including pirate ninjas because I can't think of what needs to happen next is a Bad Idea." :-D
