I know nothing of this fandom, but this was beautiful! <3
And I was so glad to see you posting (after what, 2 years?!) that I clapped my hands in excitement! <333 Don't go away again, don't go! *clings on you*
I saw this on my flist and I kind of freaked out because I didn't think anyone posted in the_famulus anymore. But I'm so happy to see JS&MN fic, especially fic that's so beautifully written!
I've not read JS&MN, so I don't have any context for the fic, but I wanted to pop by to say that the writing, the language, is just lovely and liquid and musical.
I haven't read JS&MN (although I have a copy sitting at home, waiting to be read), so I can only glean a little of the plot of the novel as I go along, but this is quite, quite beautiful. The language, the rhythm and flow, the conceit of Book and Reader... Just gorgeous. And I think I've said before that I love the idea of writing made flesh. ^_^ I think it's fascinating that the book can't read itself, but finds its own special message in someone else. That's simply gorgeous. And you give us so many amazing, gorgeous images to luxuriate in while reading, too. Just absolutely beautiful, as always.
