having just re-read "Woman an Intimate Geography" I don't find this at all surprising; however, i'm concerned by how certain right wing people might misinterpret this information to mean that the only purpose of sex is procreation.

i'm also completely intrigued by the important role of nipples in a woman's hormonal eb and flow, so to speak. funny how they are often overlooked but can have a dramatic effect on the body's function. hooray for nipples!

I actually talked to my roommates about this yesterday and one of them said they had a friend who described birthing as an "orgasmic experience."
